Welcome to the Pasadena Jaycees Foundation

The Pasadena Junior Chamber of Commerce Foundation—commonly known as the Pasadena Jaycees Foundation—is proud to support a long tradition of community projects run by the Pasadena Jaycees. These projects provide children and families in distressed circumstances with material goods and social events that would otherwise be absent from their lives.

The Foundation was established in 1994 specifically to fund projects that have served the community as far back as 1935. Indeed, in addition to financial support, each of the foundation board members has also provided manpower and organizational expertise to one, if not all, of the Pasadena Jaycees community projects supported by the foundation.

All year long the foundation works to submit grants and develop funding opportunities for these projects. We thank all our donors for their generous support, and we encourage all interested parties to learn more about becoming involved with these Pasadena Jaycees community projects.

Five Acres Easter Party
Wednesday, 10 February 2016 00:00

This year's Five Acres Easter Party will be held March 26, the day before Easter.  The Pasadena Jaycees typically send a group of 25 volunteers to help man this annual event sponsored by the Jaycees since 2007.

Each year the event involves two egg hunts, one for younger kids and one for the older ones. After the egg hunt, the Jaycees provide opportunities for the children to dye eggs, have their face painted and participate in potato sack races.  The Easter Bunny makes an appearance and everyone has a chance to have their picture taken with him and decorate their own frames to put the pictures in. Snacks are available throughout the morning, and a lunch is provided to ensure everyone has enough to eat.
